The SCTA is affiliated with New York State United Teachers (NYSUT), the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) and the AFL-CIO.  Our affiliations with these unions provide our members with resources and benefits that a smaller union would not be able to provide.

South Colonie School District

The South Colonie Central School District is located in Albany, New York and consists of eight schools from Kindergarten to grade twelve. Of the 6,000 students enrolled at South Colonie, 4,000 are enrolled in the five elementary schools.
